You can even swim if you’re brave! We’ll also learn about Dunvegan Castle, the old home of the Clan MacLeod, and discover the island’s history.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, we try to be as flexible as possible. LinkTours offers pick-up from most locations, including hotels, train stations, and other convenient spots. Just let us know where you'd like to start, and we'll do our best to arrange it.

The walk to the Fairy Pools is about 2.4 kilometers (1.5 miles) round trip. It takes about 40 minutes to an hour, depending on how fast you walk and how many stops you make. If you are joining our Isle of Skye tour we will ensure you have time to walk to the pools.

That's hard to say, as all of Skye is beautiful! Many people love the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr. But every part of the island has its special charm.

To enjoy the island, we suggest at least three days. This gives you time to see the main sights without rushing. For a proper Isle of Sky tour, three or more days is ideal.

The best months are usually May and September. These months often have good weather and fewer crowds. Remember, LinkTours isle of Skye Scotland tours run all year round, though.

Isle of Skye Tour

We really had a great time. Our tour guide was really flexible and gave us enough time to explore places we wanted to see. He also took pictures of us which we really appreciate. The tour was very informative. We learned a lot about the Scottish history. We will definitely recommend this tour to our friends.
